Member Spotlight

CCDAA is spotlighting our 2009-2010 Member of the Year Ellen Crosby!!! Pictured here with CCDAA's Advocate Tim Fitzharris, Ellen has been a dedicated educator for 48 years, and is currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the Placer County Office of Education. Ellen served as CCDAA's State Board President in 2005-2006, and she currently co-chairs CCDAA's Northern Section Advocacy Committee.

Ellen says being an active CCDAA member, "Has greatly benefited me personally and professionally. I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet and make lifelong friends with CCDAA members who are truly dedicated to the service of others - especially children.  This support has helped me to handle many difficult situations as an administrator."

Ellen would like to thank her administrators at Placer County Office of Education for their support in her role at CCDAA. Ellen will be retiring from the Placer County Office of Education later this year. Three cheers for Ellen!!!!
