Member Spotlight: Julie Berk

CCDAA is proud to recognize Julie Berk of Tulare County Office of Education as the November 2017 Member of the Month. 

The CCDAA Member Spotlight is a forum to recognize and thank a member of CCDAA who has supported the Associations' endeavors. We hope you will enjoy learning about fellow members.

Julie is currently the Assistant Superintendent in the Tulare County Office of Education, Instructional Services Division, Student Support Services Branch.  In her role, she oversees several early learning programs and initiatives, including the Child Care and Development Local Planning Council; the Early Stars Quality Rating & Improvement System, the California State Preschool Programs, as well as the Tulare County Head Start Program. Prior Mrs. Berk taught a special day class before moving to general education to teach kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th & 5th grades.  Read the rest of Carol's story by

Membership Types
CCDAA offers a variety of membership levels to serve the needs of all! Anyone who is active in any aspect of the early care and education community and interested in supporting the objectives of CCDAA is welcome to become a member. CCDAA's membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. 

Comprehensive: Those persons who currently work, or have recently worked in publicly funded early care and education programs and related services including area experts, non-administrative and support positions. Comprehensive membership includes all the rights and privileges of membership.  

Affiliate: Affiliate members must be associated with and employed by the same agency as a Comprehensive member. Affiliate membership privileges include event and publication discounts and all written communications received by the general membership.

Associate: Persons in associated early care and education fields but not publicly funded agencies. 

Retired: Those who are no longer employed in the ECE industry, but would like to stay connected.
