Dear CCDAA Colleagues,

As we continue to face uncertainty and challenges in the field of child development our collective voice is very important. Our collective voice can be heard in the California State Legislature. Our collective voice can be heard for positive certainty of child development's future through the initiation and support of legislation that helps our state's children and families.

Our part time advocate, Tim Fitzharris, expresses this collective voice consistently in Sacramento. Tim, a respected child advocate for the past 28 years, has provided a consistent and collective voice, built relationships and swayed opinion in favor of state funded programs. Tim assists CCDAA, and our sister organization CDPI- in continuing to initiate and promote legislation that supports child development services for low-income families.

Membership dues, workshops, conferences and state meetings fund all activities accomplished by your Association. Much of the funding for our advocate though must be raised separately. Our association relies on the generosity and fundraising efforts of individuals, program and/or agencies to fund our advocate's work. Donations are accepted in any amount.
