December 1, 2005

Dear CCDAA Members,

Together we are working to provide a forum for administrators to work together to improve the quality, availability and efficiency of child development programs.

CCDAA has a history as a statewide powerful, meaningful and successful voice for children.

As your State Board President, I am pleased to report to our growing membership that CCDAA is doing remarkably well as we continue into 2006 to carry out our important Mission.

All of us, as CCDAA members, can be proud of past and present accomplishments. CCDAA is on solid ground in the areas of membership growth, fiscal stability and legislative activity. We are meeting our financial obligations AND expanding the service you expect.

The reason for our successes is the extensive efforts of your State and Section Board members, Advocacy team and YOUR dedication as a CCDAA member.

But to progress in this important Mission, we must continue to keep informed, attend meetings and conferences, encourage new memberships and support the funding for “Voices for Children.”

As we are encouraged by the tremendous work and outreach performed by our Executive Director, Nina Buthee, we, as proud members, can look forward to a most productive and fruitful New Year for CCDAA.

On behalf of your State and Section Board members, I wish you and your loved ones a most pleasant and peaceful holiday season.

Sincerely,
Ellen Crosby, State President.
