Dear CCDAA Members
Home

As we continue to face the constantly changing and evolving field of child development our collective voice is very important. The California State Legislature is hearing and will continue to hear our voice on behalf of child development. This voice is manifested through legislation and advocacy that benefits the children and families of California.

Our advocate, Tim Fitzharris, carries this voice to Sacramento with strength and consistency. A respected and dedicated child advocate for the past 29 years, Tim has built relationships and influenced opinions in favor of state funded programs. He tirelessly assists CCDAA with the initiation and promotion of legislation that supports child development services for low-income families.

The majority of CCDAA activities are funded by membership dues, workshops, conferences and state meetings. However, much of the funding for our advocacy must be raised separately. Our association relies solely on the generosity and fundraising efforts of individuals, programs and agencies to fund our advocate’s work. Donations are accepted in any amount.

For every $100.00 donation received, a chance is given to the donating individual, program or agency to win one of three Lakeshore Learning Material’s $500.00 gift certificates. The gift certificate drawing will be held at CCDAA’s June 8, 2006 statewide meeting.

Please make your check payable to CCDAA – Voices for Children Fund and mail to:
